Turfing and Seeding

Drainage
The client contacted PJ & CM Froud because the existing drainage system for their golf course was poor and required replacement. When a golf course has a poor drainage system in place, the risk of water pooling and damage to the soil and turf is significantly increased and can become so bad that play is impossible. After talking with the client, we both concluded that a new drainage system was necessary and our team got to work. We used our trencher equipment to remove the turf and dig drainage channels to allow sufficient discharge of water from the golf course. We then installed pipework, gravel and sand, before relaying the turf to ensure that the drainage channels merged seamlessly with their surroundings.
Hedge Cutting
Our team of contractors were contacted by North Farm Horton in Dorset, who were looking to have one of their hedges on their farm looking more contained and tidy. After a brief consultation we decided with the client that a hedge reduction and high-quality cut would benefit them the best. The team got started straight away and within a few hours, North Farm Horton’s hedge was looking a lot neater and manageable for the client. The client was pleased with the results and we hope to work with them again in the future
